MEMS Accelerometers FAQ
All you need to know on our AXO® high performance digital MEMS accelerometers.
AXO®315 is specified over a typical range of ±14 g. However, it is capable of measuring above this value up to about ±15 g.
AXO®305 is specified over a typical range of ±5 g. However, it is capable of measuring above this value up to about ±7 g.
AXO®301 is specified over a typical range of ±1 g. However, it is capable of measuring above this value up to about ±7 g.
The typical measurement range is ± 14 g for AXO315, ± 5 g for AXO305 and ± 1 g for AXO 301. This measurement range cannot be adjusted by the end user. Tronics is continuously working on new product configurations tailored to demanding industrial and high-performance applications. Please contact Tronics if you have a specific need for an accelerometer with a custom input range.
AXO315 has a scale factor of 500,000 LSB/g with a 24-bits digital output, which corresponds to a digital resolution of 2 µg/LSB.
AXO301 and AXO305 have a scale factor of 1,000,000 LSB/g with a 24-bits digital output, which corresponds to a digital resolution of 1 µg/LSB.
Typical latency of AXO315 product is 1 ms, which is compatible with dynamic stabilization system requiring fast control loop and large bandwidth.
AXO305 has a latency of 2 ms for navigation, positioning, and motion control applications.
Typical latency of AXO301 product is 15 ms, enabling a smaller noise density over its 15 Hz bandwidth for high resolution inclination/acceleration measurement.
