AXO®315

High Performance ±14 g digital MEMS Accelerometer

High stability and repeatability for precision navigation in severe temperature and vibrations conditions

AXO®315 is a high performance, single axis closed-loop digital MEMS accelerometer with ±14 g input range that offers a performance equivalent and low-SWaP alternative to precision quartz accelerometers at a fraction of their size, weight and power.

Its superior 1-year composite bias repeatability of 1 mg combined with a Vibration Rectification Error (VRE) of 20 µg/g² make AXO®315 a perfect candidate for integration into high performance Inertial Measurement Units (IMU), Inertial Navigation Systems (INS), and Attitude and Heading Reference Systems (AHRS) for space, avionics, and directional drilling guidance applications.

The hermetic ceramic SMD package combined with a 24 bits SPI interface eases the integration of AXO®315 and reduces the BOM. The built-in self-test ensures initial verification of the sensor’s integrity and continuous in-operation functionality test.

MEMS accelerometer for navigation of dynamic applications

With a bias instability of 4 µg and an operating temperature from -55°C to +105°C, AXO®315 is a high performance MEMS accelerometer tailored to GNSS-assisted inertial navigation and positioning of UAV and VTOL, as well as AHRS for small aircrafts, helicopters and drones.

In addition, it is a perfect candidate for integration into Inertial Measurement Units (IMU) used for guidance and orientation of drilling and survey instruments. Its miniature package allows to build high precision inertial systems exhibiting a compact form-factor that fits into a low diameter tube.
